I would be overjoyed to create a portrait of your pet or other animal!
Pets provide us with so much comfort and give us so much love, and that makes me even happier to help immortalize them through art!
I create these portraits directly from photo references with a mix of watercolor and colored pencil, occasionally adding other media to enhance the final portrait as needed.
Please read all of the details below as well as all of the details in the product description before purchasing a portrait!
After you purchase a custom portrait in my shop, I will reach out via email within a few business days and request that you send me at least five reference photos, and include extra photos of any specific markings, toys, collars, or other elements you would like included. If you can or would like to take new photos, try to take them in natural sunlight, with no flash, and at the same level as the animal. I work directly from the photos I am sent, therefore the quality of your photos will impact the quality of the finished piece. Please try to avoid sending screenshots, blurry, or zoomed-out photos.
Here are some general terms:
One pet is included in the price. Please use the dropdown options if you would like more than one pet included. Once your payment has been processed, I will contact you within a few business days for photo references. I will work with you to create a timeline for completion based on my abilities and your preferences and needs. I will provide you with a preliminary sketch for your approval before beginning the final portrait. Pet portraits include one initial round of sketches and two rounds of sketch revisions. If revisions are requested once the final portrait is in progress, additional fees may be charged. Upon completion, I will mail you the physical portrait. Portraits are for personal use only and may not be reproduced for any reason, especially monetary. Artist retains all rights.
